Research and Development are essential parts
of the work of BPL.

In order to maintain our high standards of service and supply, BPL supports the current manufacturing output by continuing to invest heavily in research. This commitment to improving the quality and to developing new and improved plasma products has helped ensure our excellent safety record acknowledged around the world.

Currently, our team of over 50 graduate and post-doctorate researchers are engaged in a wide variety of tasks ranging from the development of new plasma products, to making further safety improvements and pursuing a major evaluation programme of viral inactivation and removal. BPL's reputation for innovation is impressive and helps us to ensure we continue to meet the current and future needs of health professionals everywhere.
